Four-Hit Powerhouse with Elite Speed for Illinois State
Taylor Liebelt is a dynamic outfielder for the Illinois State Redbirds who combines elite speed with surprising power, evidenced by her 13 stolen bases and a 2-RBI home run in the 2026 season against Drake[2][5]. Her differentiator is her high-intensity, all-around game: she led the team in stolen bases and RBIs while earning the Top Stick Award with a .426 BA in a prior standout performance[5]. Liebelt, a R/R hitter from Wausau, WI, displays a fearless personality, hitting for three consecutive home runs in a single game and contributing a four-hit day in a series sweep[2]. With no reported injury history and a reputation as a back Valley MVC Freshman of the Year, she is a perfect fit for teams needing a leadoff catalyst who can score runs, defend the outfield, and create chaos on the bases[4][5].
