SEMO’s Explosive Young RB with Big-Play Juice and Proven Finishing Ability
Payton Brown is a **dynamic, ascending running back** for Southeast Missouri State who flashed immediate impact as a true freshman in the 2024 season, leading SEMO with 310 rushing yards and five touchdowns while averaging 4.9 yards per carry. He brings clear big-play upside, shown by multiple multi-touchdown bursts and strong open-field instincts, and his background suggests a high-confidence, high-motor player rather than just a volume runner. For a team looking for an energetic playmaker who can create scoring chances and still has room to grow, he is a compelling fit.
