6-foot-7 RHP Dylan McCarthy brings serious frame, strikeout feel, and academic edge to William & Mary
In the 2026 season, freshman right-hander Dylan McCarthy logged 9.1 innings with 6 strikeouts and a 2.14 ERA in cumulative William & Mary stats, showing a live arm and flashes of bat-missing ability for a big-bodied 6-foot-7, 230-pound pitcher.[1][2] He was also recognized as a 2025-26 William & Mary Provost Award winner and earned CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll honors, which hints at a high-floor, coachable profile beyond the box score.[1]
