Switch-Hitting Infielder Earning PGCBL Player of the Week with 4 Multi-Hit Games
Ian Huang, a 5-10, 175-lb switch-hitting infielder from Surrey, BC, is currently dominating as Saint Peter's Peacocks' 2nd baseman, recently earning PGCBL West Division Player of the Week after hitting in 4 multi-hit games in one week. His differentiators include elite switch-hitting ability (bats both, throws right), a 3.95 GPA proving intense academic focus, and two years of D1 experience (Niagara/Saint Peter's MAAC) with 2 years of eligibility remaining. Unlike typical stats, Huang brings a 90 mph infield velocity, a 6.9s 60-yard dash, and a personality defined by relentless intensity and reliability. He is an ideal fit for teams needing a versatile, high-intensity MIF who can hit from both sides and maintain clutch performance under pressure, with no reported injury history.
