Antwain Mathews brings veteran DB size and length to Florida A&M
Antwain Mathews profiles as a long, physical defensive back for Florida A&M, listed at 6-0 and 170 pounds, with a redshirt-sophomore frame that suggests room to keep developing[1]. In the 2026 season, the available stat snapshot shows 3 tackles, with no passes defended or sacks yet, so the appeal is less about splash stats and more about a steady, depth-building presence in the secondary[2]. If your team wants a DB with experience, size, and upside rather than headline-chasing production, Mathews fits the “coachable glue guy” mold[1][2].
