Merrimack's Gritty 6'0" Forward with Proving-Ground Tenacity
Jada Powell, a 6'0" versatile forward who wrapped her college career at Merrimack in 2023 before transferring to UWG Wolves for a stellar 2023-24 season (7.6 PPG, team-high rebounds in 29 games, nearly all starts), stands out for her adaptable skillset, rebounding dominance (set JUCO records like 22 in a game), and defensive intensity as a Defensive Player of the Year runner-up. Post-grad, she's thriving overseas in Germany's 2.Bundesliga with MTV Stuttgart—her high-motor rebounding and two-way impact make her a proven, coachable gem for teams seeking blue-collar forwards who elevate winning without needing the spotlight.
