Versatile DB Transfer Making Waves, No Confirmed RB Role at Robert Morris
Justin Burns, a multi-positional athlete from Stony Brook (FCS), posted 45 tackles including 28 solo stops and career-highs of 8 tackles (twice in 2019) plus 2.0 TFL vs. James Madison, showcasing lockdown coverage and tackling intensity as a defensive back; high school profiles highlight his CB/slot WR/QB/safety versatility from Dana Hills, CA, and other programs. No direct link to Robert Morris Colonials or RB position in 2025-26 data—likely a transfer or lesser-known move—but his athletic adaptability, consistent multi-game tackle production, and 'multi-purpose' coach-friendly profile make him a intriguing depth fit for teams needing flexible secondary help with big-play potential.
