Mississippi Valley State RB with upside in a run-first role
Brandon Dawson is worth tracking because Mississippi Valley State has been leaning on the run game, and RBs in that offense can become volume drivers if they earn trust in pass protection and short-yardage situations. Publicly available info on Dawson’s individual production is limited, so the key question is less about flashy stats and more about whether he can be a dependable, physical back who fits a program needing toughness, consistency, and ball security. For a team, he profiles best as a competitive depth add with upside if he proves he can handle contact and assignment-heavy snaps.
