Eric Lohnes brings old-school linebacker grit to Weber State
Eric Lohnes is a 6-foot-2, 225-pound fifth-year linebacker for Weber State, and the best thing about him is the blend of experience and physicality that usually shows up in the unglamorous, winning parts of defense[3]. His older season stat lines show a player who’s been productive around the ball, including 34 tackles and 5.0 tackles for loss in the 2000 season, plus 41.5 tackles and 4.5 TFL in 2001—numbers that suggest he can diagnose quickly and finish plays[1][2]. If you’re looking for a dependable, hard-nosed LB who fits a downhill, assignment-sound defense, Lohnes looks like that kind of guy.
