App State’s big-play WR with proven flashes and room to grow
Joey Gibson has shown he can be a difference-maker for Appalachian State, with an efficient 2024 showing against Georgia State and a history of producing as a versatile receiver for the Mountaineers. His appeal is the playmaking profile: size, speed, and enough burst to threaten defenses vertically, plus enough toughness to stay involved in the fight after contact. If you want a receiver who can stretch the field and add explosive value, he’s worth a close look; if you need a polished, high-volume target with a long statistical résumé, the sample is thinner.
