Ernie Collins brings proven leg talent and field-position value for San Diego
Ernie Collins is best known for his reliable punting profile at San Diego, including a 39.8-yard average with six punts of 50+ yards and 15 punts inside the 20 in his Toreros season, which points to a kicker who can flip field position and handle pressure snaps. He stands out more for consistency and special-teams impact than raw flash, making him a strong fit for teams that value hidden-yardage control, composure, and a dependable specialist presence.
