T.Y. Hilton is an FIU legend, not a current Panthers WR
Hilton’s FIU résumé is electric: in his Panthers career from 2008-2011, he posted 3,531 receiving yards, 24 receiving touchdowns, and 15.4 yards per catch, while also becoming a game-breaking return threat and earning 2010 Sun Belt Player of the Year honors[2][13]. He’s the kind of speed-and-juice athlete who changes field position in a snap, but he is not a current FIU player—he officially announced his NFL retirement in March 2026, so any team fit now is about legacy and leadership, not present-day production[1][5].
