Murray State’s Donta’ Abren: a compact, active outside linebacker with upside
In the 2022 season, Donta’ Abren did not appear in any games for Murray State, so there isn’t a current stat line to lean on yet[2]. At 5-11 and 205 pounds, he profiles as a smaller, quicker outside linebacker whose value will come from movement skills, effort, and special-teams/coverage versatility rather than sheer size[2]. He entered Murray State as a transfer from Eastern Kentucky after a redshirt season, which suggests developmental upside more than instant production[2]. If you need a linebacker with twitch and room to grow, he’s the kind of bet coaches make on traits, not box-score fireworks[2].
