VCU RHP Nick Bertrand brings a live arm and projectable upside
Bertrand is a right-handed pitcher with a 6'1", 185-pound frame who was a Perfect Game commit to VCU and is now part of the Rams’ 2026 roster, giving him clear program-level endorsement and developmental upside. His profile points to a young, projectable arm with right-right traits, and he’s already been tied to championship-level team success at VCU, which suggests he fits a competitive environment. For teams, the appeal is simple: he looks like a growth bet with size, arm-side potential, and room to add impact as his body and command continue to mature.
