Washington Huskies LB Turned Pro Prospect with NFL Pedigree
Alex Cook, a hard-hitting safety/linebacker for the Washington Huskies (not UC Davis), transitioned to the NFL with the Chicago Bears in 2025, posting 7 tackles (3 solo) in his debut during a 27-13 loss to Indianapolis per FOX Sports; his 6'1", 196-lb frame, inspired by UW's storied DB tradition (Pac-12 interview), brings relentless intensity and playmaking flair—sacking QBs and forcing fumbles (NFL.com highlight vs. Dolphins)—making him a versatile, high-motor fit for teams needing aggressive, scheme-flexible defenders with zero injury red flags and immediate pro upside.
