Kemie Nkele was a dominant UC Riverside frontcourt force, with rare two-way impact
In her UC Riverside career, Kemie Nkele stood out as a high-motor F/C who could score, rebound, and protect the rim at a star level—she was a two-time Big West Player of the Week honoree in December 2005, and her freshman-year 29-point outburst plus multiple double-doubles hinted at her ceiling. By 2008-09, she had earned Big West Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year honors, with season totals that ranked among UCR’s best ever in points, rebounds, and blocks. If you want a tough, efficient interior anchor with proven production and defensive presence, she was the real deal.
