Colby Thorndyke brings a polished left-handed bat to Coastal Carolina
Thorndyke looks like a useful Coastal Carolina piece because in the 2025 season he hit .305 with 43 RBI and added 18 doubles, showing a contact-first profile with gap power rather than empty swing-and-miss punch. At 6-foot, 215 pounds, the left-handed first baseman/outfielder gives the Chanticleers a strong run-producer with enough versatility to fit at multiple spots. The main appeal is consistency: he was productive without needing elite home-run totals, which makes him a solid fit for teams valuing reliable at-bats and line-drive power.[1][2]
