Hampton Pirates OL with Untapped Potential from Tulane Roots
Rafael Vazquez, a versatile offensive lineman listed with the Hampton Pirates, brings high school pedigree as a multi-positional standout (G/T/DT/NG) from Whitnall HS (Class of 2020) and early Tulane experience, appearing in four games as a 2008 freshman against powerhouses like Alabama and LSU; his differentiator is raw athleticism and size ideal for run-blocking schemes, though limited college snaps suggest he's still developing—perfect fit for teams needing gritty, high-motor depth without injury red flags, making him a sleeper worth watching in FCS rotations.
