Veteran ball-hawk safety with a hitter’s edge
Jody Ellis brings proven secondary value as a safety for Morgan State, with a reputation as a punishing hitter who can play multiple spots in the defensive backfield. In his Morgan State season notes, he was described as one of the leaders of the Bears’ top-ranked defense and as a transfer who posted 38 tackles, 2 interceptions, and a sack in 11 games, while also producing splash plays like a fumble recovery and late-game interception in a key win. If your team wants a physical, versatile, experienced defensive back who can help stabilize the back end, he fits the bill.
