6-3 SG with Elite Scoring Intensity and All-Sun Belt Honors for Southeastern Louisiana
Todd Nelson, the 6-3 shooting guard for Southeastern Louisiana Lions, is a high-intensity scorer who averaged 12.5 points as a sophomore at Itawamba and earned All-Sun Belt honors in 2025 by scoring in double figures 26 times, including 21 of the last 23 games. His differentiator is relentless on-ball aggression and a 70% free-throw rate, not just raw stats; he plays with a 'next-play' mentality, rarely fouling out, and thrives in clutch moments with a 3-for-3 arc performance against Lumberjacks. While he has no major injury history, his intensity can lead to occasional fatigue late in games. He's a perfect fit for teams needing a reliable, clutch scoring guard who elevates with pressure, making him a top-tier addition for any competitive roster.
