Julien Franklin brings size, experience and two-way utility to Cal Poly’s backcourt
Franklin is a 6-foot-7 graduate guard with a multi-stop college background and a steady, adaptable game that can help Cal Poly in matchup flexibility and veteran presence. He started his career at Oregon State, then became a reliable rotation piece at Cal Poly, where his early impact included 125 points, 23 assists, 10 steals and 12 threes in his first season with the Mustangs. His length, rebounding feel and willingness to contribute in different roles make him a useful glue guy—less about flashy scoring, more about trust, toughness and doing the little things that coaches tend to love.
