a steady Louisiana Tech edge presence with proven program value
Brandon Avance’s Louisiana Tech profile is more “reliable veteran contributor” than box-score monster: Sports Reference lists him as a defensive lineman who appeared in 11 games for the Bulldogs and recorded 5 tackles and 1.0 tackle for loss, while LA Tech recognized him as Defensive End MVP in 2002[2][15]. The value here is toughness, consistency, and coach trust—traits that don’t always pop in stat sheets, but do matter if you want a DL who understands assignments and brings weekly effort.
