Long, versatile Norfolk State linebacker still carving out his snap-to-snap impact
Watts brings NFL-like length at 6-foot-4 and a wiry 212-pound frame, giving Norfolk State a linebacker who can fit the run and still move in space. His college usage has been modest so far — 7 tackles in 2023 and 2 tackles in 2022 — but the upside is in the profile: a developmental defender with size, athletic lean, and experience after redshirting in 2021. In the 2023 season, he looked like a depth piece with traits; if you want a project who could grow into a bigger defensive role, he’s worth a look.
