Alrekus Graves brings two-way versatility and DB upside to Alcorn State
Graves arrives as a versatile defensive back with real athletic value, listed by recruiting/roster sources as a safety/cornerback-type defender and also a multi-positional athlete in high school, which usually translates to adaptability in coverage and special teams. His value is less about flashy stat lines and more about fit: he looks like a developmental defender who can help a staff with speed, flexibility, and competitive toughness, especially if they want a player who can learn multiple roles. Publicly available sources do not show detailed college production yet, so the key question is projection rather than finished product.
