Fred Harris Jr. brings compact, downhill linebacker energy to Mississippi Valley State
Fred Harris Jr. is a Brandon, Mississippi product listed at 6'0", 215 pounds, and his value starts with his physicality and local-talent toughness for Mississippi Valley State. In the 2023 season, he appeared in 4 games and recorded 4 total tackles, including 2 solo stops, which suggests a developmental linebacker still earning more run but already showing contact willingness. For a team, he looks like a depth-plus, special-teams-friendly defender with room to grow into a more consistent inside presence if his processing and snap-to-snap impact keep climbing.
