Mareceo Rutledge brings efficient guard play and veteran UNLV stability
Rutledge is a steady, low-drama guard for UNLV who has shown efficient scoring touch in the 2025-26 season, averaging 3.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 0.4 assists while shooting 42.2% from the field. His appeal is less about high-volume production and more about reliable, team-first guard minutes, with a profile that suggests poise and role acceptance rather than shot-hunting. For a team looking for a disciplined backcourt piece who can fit into a defined role without demanding the offense, he looks like a sensible depth add.
