Owen Long brings veteran guard savvy and a steady, two-way edge to Youngstown State
Owen Long is a seasoned guard whose value goes beyond the box score: he’s a 6-foot-2, 180-pound playmaker with a compact build, solid feel, and a reputation for being reliable after battling a wrist injury early in his Youngstown State tenure. In the 2021-22 season, he averaged 2.7 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 0.7 assists in limited minutes, which signals a role player profile rather than a high-usage scorer. If you want a tough, low-drama guard who can handle responsibilities and raise the team’s floor, he’s a fit; if you need a primary offensive engine, he’s not that guy.
