Veteran depth piece with a high-floor reputation at SDSU
Ian Bass has been a steady, dependable offensive lineman for South Dakota State, showing up in games from his early years and earning multiple Missouri Valley Football Conference Honor Roll nods. In the 2021 season, he saw action in consecutive games against Lindenwood, Indiana State, and Dixie State, and earlier he worked as a backup tackle and special teams contributor. His edge is reliability: a 6-4, 285-pound frame, development over time, and a strong academic/work-ethic profile suggest a low-drama, team-first fit for programs valuing depth and maturity.
