steady New Mexico State floor general who makes the Aggies go
Zaire Williams is a reliable, pass-first guard for New Mexico State whose value shows up in orchestration, not just scoring—ESPN listed her at 5.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game in the 2024-25 season, while older NM State and conference notes highlight her ability to push pace, create for teammates and defend with active hands. Her profile fits a team needing composure, ball movement and low-drama leadership more than a pure bucket-getter, though she’s historically been more efficient as a facilitator than as a high-volume scorer.
