Ricardo Roman gives FAMU a lefty arm with upside and depth value
In the 2026 season, Florida A&M’s Ricardo Roman is a freshman left-handed pitcher who brings projectable size at 6-foot-2, 195 pounds and adds balance to the Rattlers’ staff. FAMU’s roster and stats pages confirm his role, while an early-season outing against North Florida went into the loss column, so the sample is still small. The big appeal is the left-handed look and room to grow—he looks like a developmental fit for a staff that can value strike-throwing, deception, and upside over flashy résumé noise.
