James Truxillo brings veteran DB versatility and proven academic leadership to ULM
James Truxillo is a seasoned Louisiana-Monroe defensive back whose value goes beyond raw stats: ULM’s own coverage of his move in the secondary points to a real impact on team defense, with the Warhawks allowing far fewer yards per game after his position change, and he also earned ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District recognition, suggesting discipline, intelligence, and coachability. He looks like a fit for teams that want a dependable, adaptable DB who can process quickly, communicate well, and stabilize a back end rather than just flash with highlight plays.
