Bennett Gerli is a relentless Cornell defensive line grinder with walk-on toughness
Bennett Gerli’s Cornell profile describes him as a former Ithaca College transfer who earned significant junior-varsity action and ranked among the team’s top defensive linemen in 2008, which says a lot about his motor and willingness to grind for snaps. A scouting blurb from a fan evaluation site praises his relentless effort and quick first step, suggesting a disruptive, high-energy DL who can create problems by beating blockers early. The big takeaway: he looks like a fit for teams that value intensity, versatility, and under-the-radar toughness over pure star-hype.
