low-usage Lamar guard with a steady role
Broussard has been a modest-scoring backcourt piece for Lamar in the 2025-26 season, averaging 2.2 points per game while shooting 33.3% from the field, which points to a role player still finding his offensive rhythm.[1] What stands out most is not volume but fit: he gives Lamar another guard option in a program that has leaned on balanced team production, making him more of a complementary piece than a primary creator.[1][2]
