veteran CMU tackle with blue-collar upside
Richard Hayes is a Central Michigan offensive lineman whose best trait is the kind coaches love most: consistency with edge. In his recruiting profile, he was described as a three-year starter who didn’t allow a sack as a senior in high school and earned all-state honors, which hints at a technically sound, dependable blocker with toughness in the trenches. The catch: publicly available current 2026 performance data is limited here, so the safest read is that he profiles as a developmental, fit-first OL—useful if you want a steady, physical presence rather than a flashy stat-line superstar.
