Northern Illinois DB with a résumé note, but limited recent on-field visibility
Smith is listed as a defensive back for Northern Illinois, but the available team bio indicates he was injured during part of the 2010 season and did not appear in any games that year, so there is no reliable current stat line to judge present performance from the provided sources. What stands out is the uncertainty: he’s a rostered DB, but the public record here offers more injury context than production context, which makes him a harder fit to evaluate for immediate impact without updated film, practice reports, or recent game logs.
