Mercyhurst INF Joey Spano Jr. brings twitch, bat speed, and hit-projectable upside
Joey Spano Jr. looks like a useful infield add because evaluators have consistently liked his clean bat speed, leveraged swing, and ability to drive the ball with intent, while also noting good footwork, twitchy movement, and shortstop-level range from his high school profile. He was described by Prep Baseball as a two-sport athlete with more strength coming, which suggests upside beyond the current box score. That combination makes him interesting for teams that value contact-oriented offense with projection and defensive athleticism, especially if you want a player whose tools may keep trending up.
