Nick Brand is a 6-foot-5, 290-pound offensive lineman who came to Sacramento State as a local Del Campo High School product and was praised for his competitiveness, strength, and a little extra nastiness between the whistles. The most useful context on him is less about flashy stats and more about traits: he was a multi-year varsity player, earned all-section and all-conference honors in high school, and was described by Sacramento State’s staff as an “All-American kid” with edge.
