Marcus Bartels brings proven tackling production and veteran DB instincts to FAU
Marcus Bartels is a high-motor Florida Atlantic defensive back whose calling card is dependable tackling and production in the secondary; FAU’s own bio notes he finished with 112 tackles in one season and 297 career tackles, while ESPN lists him as a DB from Hollywood, Florida[4][5][1]. He stands out more for instincts, run support, and consistency than flashy ball production, which makes him the kind of steady, physical defender coaches trust in a rotation or matchup role[4][5].
