Brandon Key brings veteran point-guard poise and pass-first juice to SDSU
Brandon Key is a compact, crafty South Dakota State guard whose calling card has been creation: in the 2019-20 season, he averaged 10.8 points and 4.3 assists per game with a 1.31 assist-to-turnover ratio, showing he can run a team without getting reckless. Earlier in his Jackrabbit run, he led SDSU with 112 assists in the 2017-18 season, and coaches praised his open-court burst and floor-general feel. At 5-10, he’s more spark plug than statue—best suited for teams that value pace, ball security, and a guard who can organize chaos.
