Texas State DB John Szczech: experienced defensive back with size and program familiarity
John Szczech has been listed as a Texas State defensive back at 6-1 and 175-184 pounds, giving him the frame to match up physically on the back end and the flexibility to hold down multiple DB roles.[3][4] The public record here is limited on recent game production, but his presence in Texas State materials across multiple seasons suggests he brought continuity, size, and roster value rather than flash-stat production.[3][4][6] If you want a dependable depth piece with system familiarity and enough length to compete in coverage, he fits the profile.
