Gary Blackmon brings length, coverage upside, and Southern’s DB-room value
Gary Blackmon is a Southern Jaguars defensive back listed by ESPN, but the available public search results do not provide recent season-by-season stats or detailed scouting notes, so his current performance is hard to quantify from open sources alone.[4] What matters for fit is the role: DBs are judged on coverage discipline, tackling reliability, and versatility in the secondary, and Blackmon’s value will come down to how well he matches those traits in Southern’s system.[4] If you’re evaluating him for your team, he is a name to watch for defensive back depth and development potential, but you’ll want recent game film and staff evaluations before making a final call.[4]
