Scotty Dean brings old-school Wofford toughness to the middle of the defense
Scotty Dean is a Wofford Terriers nose tackle profile built for trench warfare: space-eating, physical, and designed to keep linebackers clean rather than rack up flashy stats. Available public information doesn’t show current 2026 stat-leader production, but his value is the kind coaches love—anchor-level run defense, leverage, and a physical mindset that fits a defensive front needing toughness over glamour. If your team wants an interior defender who can clog lanes and set a hard edge, Dean looks like a fit; if you want a stat-sheet star, this probably isn’t your guy.
