Meadow Ferri is Kent State’s power arm with a big-game résumé and rookie-year flashes
Meadow Ferri has shown real upside for Kent State in the 2026 season, including a 5-win freshman campaign, a scoreless weekend that earned MAC Pitcher of the Week honors, and multiple outings where she handled heavy innings in relief and as a starter. She looks like a competitive, high-leverage pitcher who can steady games when her command is on; the swing skill is consistency, since some outings have been rough against top MAC lineups. For a team needing a tough-minded left?right? no — right-handed arm with proven shutout potential and freshman poise, she’s a legit fit.
