Elea Gaba brings size, physicality, and a proven interior touch to Buffalo
Elea Gaba is a 6-3 German center who entered Buffalo with a reputation for toughness, physical play, and soft hands around the rim; Buffalo’s own signing release said she brings “a different level of physicality” and “great touch and feel around the basket.” In her 2019-20 freshman season, she appeared in 26 games with 12 starts and averaged 5.0 points and 2.6 rebounds, including a 16-point game at Stanford, a nice sign she can handle higher-end competition. If you need a rugged interior piece who competes, finishes, and doesn’t mind doing the dirty work, she’s a fit.
