Furman’s compact, productive back with proven burst and balance
Brandon Mays has long been profile-worthy at Furman because he’s a compact, powerful runner who earned early playing time and delivered when called on, including a 2023 season line of 91 carries for 581 yards and a 6.1-yard average with 1 rushing TD. His differentiators are acceleration through contact, toughness, and versatility as a return option, which makes him more than a box-score back. He fits teams that value physical runners who can stay efficient between the tackles and add hidden-yardage value on special teams.
