Experienced USC safety and dependable depth piece
Davonte Nunnery is a former USC walk-on safety who profiles as a reliable, detail-oriented defender rather than a headline-grabbing stat producer. USC described him as a backup safety as a senior walk-on in 2018, and recruiting listings place him at 5-foot-10, 210 pounds, suggesting a sturdy frame for run support and special-teams work. He is the kind of player coaches value for football IQ, toughness, and willingness to do the unglamorous jobs; if you need polished depth and a high-effort, low-drama fit in the secondary, he makes sense.
