ULM’s durable paint anchor with a coach’s brain
Diamond Brooks is a 6-foot-2 center who’s been a steady, high-IQ presence for ULM, and in the 2022-23 season she remained notable for record-level program longevity and leadership rather than gaudy volume scoring.[2][10] She’s one of the most experienced Warhawks ever, appeared in more games than any player in school history, and was recognized by the WBCA for her leadership and future coaching potential—useful clues that she brings toughness, professionalism, and locker-room value beyond the box score.[2] Earlier in her ULM career, she showed efficient interior production, including a 2020-21 season with 6.0 points and 4.4 rebounds per game, so she profiles as a dependable fit for teams needing a physical, mature post who understands the game.[5]
