Delaware State’s compact, versatile back with upside
Tyshaun Capers is a 5-foot-11, 200-pound Delaware State running back from Hollis, N.Y., whose profile points to a sturdy, physical downhill runner with useful all-around versatility. In the 2022 season, he appeared in limited action and posted 9 carries for 40 yards, showing a modest but real efficiency base; earlier Delaware State stat pages also show him contributing in the run game in 2021. He’s the kind of back who can earn trust through toughness, ball security, and special-teams grit, making him more of a developmental fit than an instant headline-grabber.
