Niguel Jenkins brings SWAC-winning pop, plus can-play-anywhere versatility
Niguel Jenkins looks like a real difference-maker for Alabama State in the 2026 season: a big, physical 6'3", 225-pound right-handed bat who produced clutch damage in key games, including a three-run homer in a series-clincher against Southern and an RBI hit in the SWAC title game. He’s more than a power swing, too — he’s been used in center field and can impact games with run production and competitive edge. If a team wants a loud athlete with postseason-caliber confidence and room to keep rising, Jenkins is absolutely worth a hard look.
