Southern Miss’s steady floor general with elite efficiency
Neil Watson’s Southern Miss profile is that of a savvy, high-value guard who impacts winning beyond raw scoring: he piled up 177 assists in a season, set a program single-season mark with 64 steals, and shot .442 from three in 2014, one of the best marks in school history[1][7]. In the 2014 season, he was a first-team all-conference performer and helped Southern Miss to a league co-championship, which speaks to his poise, toughness, and winning fit in a structured backcourt[5][7]. If a team wants a reliable organizer who can defend, make open threes, and keep an offense humming, Watson is your guy[1][5].
